While I had taken a break from brewing, I still managed to judge the occasional competition, and so maintained my presence in the BJCP. Something I hope to increase
participation in as well. I have been active lately in helping to start up a new brewing club in the Santa Cruz area, called the Central Coast Zymurgeeks. We meet
once a month, and try to have a technical presentation at each meeting, as well as try to help each other become better brewers. I have found that a lot has changed in brewing in the last 5 years or so!
